Part-time and full-time candidates will be considered. Flexible hours preferred, but P.M. and A.M. only candidates will be considered. BOWL’D is changing the way busy people eat forever by making food that is CRAVABLE and enamors your taste buds while also great for your body and mind.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the BOH and training of new and existing staff on standards for:
    • Temperature and other critical control points
    • Sanitation
    • Food quality
    • Excellent food presentation
    • Kitchen organization
    • Overall efficiency, including cost efficiency

Requirements:

  • Experienced leader in the kitchen
  • Prior experience and success supervising and developing others
  • Fast casual restaurant experience with fresh food prep a must.
  • Track record of improving speed of service, order accuracy and food presentation
  • Supply ordering skills and experience
  • Prior success tweaking and enhancing recipes
  • Chef training a plus, but not required

Supported by your GM and management team, you will be given the opportunity to train and supervise crew members, monitor and reinforce food safety standards and procedures, interact with guests and deliver exceptional customer service. We are looking for a leader that leads by example, a leader that inspires others to do their best as well as help with the continued innovation of our food and our menu.

Requirements:

  • Open availability preferred (evening and weekend preferred, but morning and weekend availability will be considered)
  • Kitchen supervisory skills and experience maintaining high standards for food quality, safety, training and coaching staff to maintain those aforementioned standards.
  • Passion for food and providing distinctive customer service.
  • Supervisory experience a must, preferably two years or more.
  • Fluency in English required. Basic Spanish speaking preferred.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent credential required.
  • Have reliable transportation to Arlington, Virginia. If you have a car to assist with catering orders throughout the Metro Washington DC area from time to time, even better.
  • Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
